OHSU-PSU School of Public Health Annual Student Poster Showcase

Friday, May 5th, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Oregon Health Authority (800 NE Oregon St, Portland, OR)

This opportunity is open to all OHSU-PSU School of Public Health students. Presenting students will receive free lunch and top posters will receive a prizeParticipation is a great addition on your resume, CV and grad school applications.

The Student Poster Showcase is an opportunity to present your work to peers and public health colleagues.

Poster topics can include:

·         Class projects or papers

·         Research projects or designs

·         Literature/policy reviews

·         Field experience

·         Professional experience

·         Etc.

All abstracts are accepted. A project does not need to be complete in order to submit an abstract—research/evaluation designs, project proposals, and other early-stage work is great material for a presentation. You’ll receive feedback on your abstract from the Student Leadership Council. Dr. Cara Eckhart will host a poster preparation session to help support your efforts this Friday, April 14th from 12 to 1 PM in the PSU Urban Center room 311.  Please submit abstracts online by April 12th. Download detailed instructions and links to resources to help you with the development of your abstract and poster here.

This event has been scheduled to directly follow OHSU’s annual Research Week, which takes place from May 1st to May 3rd.  For more information, please contact Sarah Andrea
