All MPH students are required to complete a field experience/internship/organizational experience that provides an invaluable opportunity to apply the skills learned and knowledge developed during their coursework to a real-world setting. Field experiences are a minimum of 200 hours over one or two quarters, merit six credits, and typically occur toward the end of a student’s program. Students work with faculty advisers, preceptors, and field experience coordinators throughout the application process and actual work done.
