Establishing Residency

Tuition & Fees

Tuition and fees are approved by the universities prior to the beginning of each academic year. Students are billed by the university that manages their enrollment, except that on-campus housing, meal plans, childcare, and some additional specialty services are always billed by PSU. Library fines are billed by the university from which the books were borrowed.

Occasionally, students may obtain permission to take a course outside the School of Public Health that is billed at a different rate than that charged by the student’s academic program. Students are responsible for the billed cost of these courses.

Refund Policy

Refunds are granted to students in accordance with the OHSU’s Academic Tuition and Fees Refund Schedule or PSU’s Tuition Refund Schedule, depending upon the university through which students enroll.

Notification of withdrawal or cancellation and request for refund must be in writing and addressed to the appropriate Registrar. An appeals process is available for students who believe their circumstances warrant exceptions to the published policy.
