The OPHA Annual Conference and Meeting is the premier public health event in Oregon. Since 1944, public health leaders, professionals, educators, advocates, students and stakeholders have come together to share the latest in research, programs, and information. Join us for this inspiring event!

The Epidemiology/Biostatistics Section of the Oregon Public Health Association (OPHA) is offering scholarships to the OPHA 2024 Annual Conference. These scholarships aim to support individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to the fields of epidemiology and biostatistics, thereby promoting the professional development of emerging leaders in public health.
- Award: Scholarships will reimburse recipients for the cost of membership, registration, travel expenses and one night of lodging to attend the annual OPHA conference, October 7-8, 2024 in Corvallis, Oregon.
- Eligibility: Nominees for this award must have a vested interest in improving the public’s health. The nominee’s work may involve epidemiology and biostatistics research or practice, which may be ongoing work or a completed project.
- How to Apply: Please email a current resume or CV and a short statement about the individual’s work to Sharon Coryell at coryellsharon@gmail.com. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Deadline for applications is July 26, 2024. Recipients will be notified of their award by August 9, 2024.
