The Political Education and Action Coordinator serves to advance the political consciousness of Portland State University students through engaging in grassroots community organizing with the community organization of your choice (list will be provided), developing relationships with campus organizations grounded in communal liberation, and advancing a nuanced understanding of systems of oppression and modes of liberation for marginalized, migrant, and student communities through political education and action done in coordination with WRC’s programming team. The PEA Coordinator will plan 1-2 events + additional gatherings per term.

Compensation: $18.20/hr, 10 hours per week
