COVID-19: Public Health Job Opportunities

The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the need for new and additional public health professionals. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), the lead agency for the public health response, is working with Gov. Brown and local public health officials to monitor and suppress COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations and reduce the health and economic impacts and disparities that have stemmed from the COVID-19 pandemic in Oregon.

OHA has several positions currently open, including five openings for epidemiologists in the Portland area. In addition, several public health agencies are also hiring public health professionals.
