IMPORTANT UPDATE: In response to the current surge in Covid-19 infections, some Fall School of Public Health classes have moved from in-person to hybrid and/or remote delivery.
As we return to campus for Fall Term 2021, we want to ensure you have the most updated information about safety measures on our partner university campuses. As unknowns remain about the risks of the Delta variant, both Oregon Health & Science University and Portland State University have implemented comprehensive safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including requiring all students, faculty, and staff be vaccinated against the virus, and to wear masks at all times when indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
We will continue to work with our public health partners and follow their guidance on mask-wearing and physical distancing to make our campuses, classrooms, and offices as safe as possible. In the meantime, please follow the links below to learn more about the safety protocols and vaccine requirements at OHSU and PSU.
This fall, the offices of the School of Public Health, including its faculty and staff, will be located in the Vanport Building. Because the Vanport Building is located on the PSU campus, all students, faculty, staff, and visitors will be required to follow the safety protocols required by PSU when in the SPH offices or meeting spaces. Per PSU’s Mask and Face Covering Policy, all students, faculty, staff, and visitors must wear a mask or face covering while indoors in all locations in the building.
