The Epidemiology/Biostatistics Section of the Oregon Public Health Association (OPHA) is offering scholarships to the OPHA 2024 Annual Conference. These scholarships aim to support individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to the fields of epidemiology and biostatistics, thereby promoting the professional development of emerging leaders in public health.

• Award: Scholarships will reimburse recipients for the cost of membership, registration, travel expenses and one night of lodging to attend the annual OPHA conference, October 7-8, 2024 in Corvallis, Oregon.
• Eligibility: Nominees for this award must have a vested interest in improving the public’s health. The nominee’s work may involve epidemiology and biostatistics research or practice, which may be ongoing work or a completed project.
• How to Apply: Please email a current resume or CV and a short statement about the individual’s work to Sharon Coryell at coryellsharon@gmail.com. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Deadline for applications is July 26, 2024. Recipients will be notified of their award by August 9, 2024.
