AsianCrit: Lived Experience As Knowledge For Liberation

May 2, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join Guest Speaker Kayla Mendoza Chui

In this talk, we’ll discuss a brief overview of what an AsianCrit perspective is and how we can use it in our lives to move towards collective liberation. While AsianCrit is a lens that specifically focuses on narratives and experiences of Asians and Asian Americans, it is also applicable and connected to everyone and critical in creating a liberatory future. We’ll engage in activities that will tap into your own lived experiences and how that knowledge can inform how we take action towards a world of safety, joy, and healing.
