The OPHA Nursing and Healthy Environment Sections are co-sponsoring a two-part Lunch and Learn series this fall. Part one is a panel discussion, Environmental Impacts with the Changing Climate: A Public Health Agenda, taking place Tuesday, September 10th, 2024, 12 – 1 PM.
 
The webinar will explore the intersection between health, public health and environmental factors that are impacting on our practice and our communities and highlight the inequitable impacts marginalized populations are experiencing.

Panelists are Gary Laustsen, PhD, FNP, RN, Professor and Graduate Program Director, University of Portland, School of Nursing and Health Innovations, and Jackie Leung, JD, MS, Assistant Professor of Public Health, Linfield University, and the Executive Director of the Micronesian Islander Community.
