A Q+A with Professional Program Evaluators

The Oregon Program Evaluators Network (OPEN) is hosting a free event for students on January 20th from 12:30-1:30 pm pst. We will have two professional evaluators answering questions about the skills they use in their jobs and what they look for when hiring.

Join us for a conversation with Dr. Katie Winters and Dr. Miranda Sitney about the skills they use every day in their careers as program evaluators.

What is Program Evaluation?
Program evaluation is a systemic process to identify the worth or value of a program.Program evaluators works in a variety of arenas including schools, social services, private organizations, social policy, international aid, and more.

About the Panel:

Dr. Winters is Principal at Insight for Action, an evaluation consultancy that works with purpose-driven organizations to strengthen their social impact.
Dr. Sitney recently completed her PhD from PSU and works as a Suicide Prevention Policy Analyst at Oregon Health Authority.
