OHA-Public Health Division Celebrating Disability Culture Through the Work of Judy Heuman

Judith (Judy) Heumann was a lifelong advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. She has been a part of almost every pivotal movement in the disability rights movement and remained a tireless advocate. Through her work, she has improved accessibility and opportunities for millions of people in the United States and billions around the world. She is an internationally recognized leader in the Disability Rights Independent Living Movement. Join us in learning about and celebrating disability culture through the amazing work Judy did in her lifetime.
