Public health continues to be featured in the news and enter into dinner conversation throughout the state and the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted health, pushed other important public health work to the side, fueled the spread of misinformation, and affected public trust. This event provides an opportunity to come together to discuss the current situation, examine what we are learning, and strategize what we can do to build back better.
Peer to peer learning and networking are important parts of the training and professional development for our field. We hope to see everyone in-person this year to build connections that are hard to replicate online.
This year’s conference will be informative and valuable for the public health community in Oregon. At OPHA 2022 you’ll find the latest in public health research and trends, thought-provoking speakers, and plenty of networking opportunities. Highlights include:
- Education: More than 80 presentations on key areas of public health, facilitated discussions to learn from your peers, and an interactive poster session.
- Networking: Connect with public health professionals and stakeholders from around the Northwest
- Association Awards: Join OPHA in recognizing Oregon’s public health advocates and leaders.
- Professional Opportunities, Products and Services: Connect with OPHA Sponsors and visit the Exhibit Hall.
