SPH Research Seminar: Trials, Tribulations, and Successes Conducting SUD Services Research Within Oregon’s Criminal Legal System

Over the past 6 years in Oregon, there has been tremendous change in availability of treatments for opioid use disorder for adults cycling through prison and jail. Since 2020, drug possession has been both decriminalized and recriminalized. The presenters will share experiences conducting multiple studies assessing MOUD treatment in Oregon’s criminal-legal system, as well as selected findings from research and evaluation and plans for future work.
