DESCRIPTION:Make the most of PubMed for your research! This hands-on workshop will introduce strategies for efficient and effective searching\, helping you save time and find higher-quality evidence. You’ll learn how to use PubMed to construct more precise searches with more relevant results. We will also talk about methods to mitigate biases in your search\, and some tips on leveraging AI to help enrich your search strategy. Whether you are new to information research or looking to sharpen your search expertise\, this session will equip you with practical skills to improve your research process.  \nBy the end of this session\, learners will be able to: \n\nUse features of PubMed for efficient and effective searching\, including crafting advanced Boolean queries with MeSH terms\nUse PubMed accounts to save searches and create search alerts\nEvaluate contextual authority and bias in PubMed and related tools and revise searches to mitigate those biases\n\nThis workshop will be recorded\, and the recording will be shared with all registered attendees after the session.
