SUMMARY:Consensus Deep Search: Dive into the Literature with Generative AI - March
DESCRIPTION:Learn how Consensus uses AI to find and analyze scholarly literature by identifying key claims\, supporting evidence\, and research gaps. This workshop introduces the Consensus platform and examines how AI-driven retrieval influences what information appears\, how it’s ranked\, and how these insights can inform your research process. Participants will also reflect on the opportunities and challenges of using generative AI in academic research.  \nBy the end of this session\, learners will be able to: \n\nDescribe the strengths and limitations of generative AI-assisted search tools\nIdentify OHSU policies related to the use of publicly available generative AI tools\nUse the features of Consensus for scholarly literature searching\nAnalyze the implications of Consensus’s search coverage and functionality\nCompare Consensus to similar AI tools\n\nOHSU users have subscription access to Consensus if they register at Consensus.app with their OHSU email address. \nThis workshop will be recorded\, and the recording will be shared with all registered attendees after the session.
