SUMMARY:Nervous System Nourishment for Career Stress Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Navigating our careers can be stressful. Whether you’re unsure what you want to do next\, are sending out application after application\, or are finding yourself freezing up in interviews\, you’re not alone. Our bodies carry the weight of stress\, yet there are ways to honor\, work with\, and loosen its grip. \nIn this experiential workshop\, you will get to know your nervous system better by learning about what happens in your body during stressful career moments. We will also practice somatic tools that you can use before\, during\, and after stressful career experiences\, so you can feel more grounded and authentic. \nCome as you are and leave with tools to nurture your nervous system and sense of well-being.  \nThis workshop will be held in the Academic and Student Recreation Center (Studio 450).
