SUMMARY:Virtual Roundtable: Redesigning Assignments and Assessments with AI
DESCRIPTION:How can assignments and assessments evolve when generative AI becomes part of the learning environment? This roundtable will feature practical examples of faculty intentionally incorporating AI into student work\, from using Socratic questioning to connect experiences with competencies to using AI-generated perspectives to challenge assumptions and strengthen arguments. Participants will discuss approaches that preserve authentic learning while building critical thinking\, reflection\, and student accountability. \nCore takeaway:\nEffective assignment redesign gives AI a purposeful role in the learning process without replacing the thinking students need to do themselves.
