Eric Hall¹
Biography
Eric Hall is an epidemiologist and assistant professor of epidemiology in the School of Public Health. He teaches graduate level courses in the epidemiology and public health practice programs.
Hall’s research is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of infections of both domestic and global concern (viral hepatitis, SARS-CoV-2, HIV). His research focuses on the development and utilization of epidemiologic, statistical and economic evaluation methods to provide data and results that have a direct implication on public health programs or policy. His ongoing work leverages models to improve surveillance and quantify the disease burden of viral hepatitis and evaluate the cost-effectiveness of hepatitis B vaccination and hepatitis C screening policies.
