Hall’s research is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of infections of both domestic and global concern (viral hepatitis, SARS-CoV-2, HIV).  His research focuses on the development and utilization of epidemiologic, statistical and economic evaluation methods to provide data and results that have a direct implication on public health programs or policy.  His ongoing work leverages models to improve surveillance and quantify the disease burden of viral hepatitis and evaluate the cost-effectiveness of hepatitis B vaccination and hepatitis C screening policies.
