Website Samaritan Health Services

Creating Leaders in Health Care

The Administrative Fellowship Program at Samaritan Health Services is a unique opportunity for Masters-prepared Healthcare Administration graduates (MHA, MBA, MPH or similar) to gain valuable practical experience in health care. The program provides new leaders with exposure through monthly rotations as well as vital project experience to launch a successful career in health care management.

Fellows gain experience in an integrated health care system that includes five hospitals, three of which are critical access hospitals, primary and specialty care practices, a health plan and an innovative approach to the challenges of providing comprehensive personal and population-based health care.

The fellowship spans 12 months and involves monthly rotations across various departments within the system. Rotations encompass the operations of acute care, critical access, medical group and a health plan. Additionally, fellows engage with departments such as strategy and planning, information systems and human resources. Fellows also work on mini projects related to their assigned rotations as well as participate in longitudinal projects.
