Start a Narcare Chapter: Lead the Fight Against Opioid Overdoses on Your Campus
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you want to be at the forefront of combating the opioid crisis? Starting a Narcare chapter on your college campus could be your opportunity to lead the charge in saving lives and promoting harm reduction.

What is Narcare?

Narcare is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing opioid overdoses through education, naloxone distribution, and community outreach. By establishing a Narcare chapter at your campus, you’ll join a network of student leaders committed to making a positive impact in their communities.

  • Assemble Your Leadership Team: Recruit motivated students to fill key roles.
  • Find a Faculty Advisor: Seek support from a faculty member.
  • Obtain and Distribute Naloxone: Secure naloxone and distribute kits.
  • Develop a Volunteering System: Establish a structured volunteer system.

What We Need From You

Starting a Narcare chapter requires dedication, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference. As a leader, you’ll need to:

  • Lead with passion and purpose, inspiring your team and motivating them to achieve their goals.
  • Be proactive and resourceful, seeking out opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders and secure necessary resources.
