The James Administrative Fellowship is a one-year program designed to provide extensive training and hands-on experience to emerging healthcare leaders in the field of cancer care. Our program equips fellows with versatile skills that open doors to diverse career paths in healthcare, including but not limited to leadership, finance, strategy, project management, and analytics. As an administrative fellow, students will have the opportunity to rotate through various hospital departments, shadowing leaders to gain insights into day-to-day operations. Simultaneously, they will actively participate in projects, gaining invaluable hands-on experience to hone their skills. The program also includes robust professional development support and mentorship to enrich the fellowship experience.

Structure of The Fellowship:

The program offers a blend of rotations and project-based experiences, enabling fellows to acquire expertise across various facets of our healthcare system. Rotation areas encompass, but are not limited to:

• Finance
• Patient Experience
• Quality & Safety
• Lab
• Pharmacy
• Project Management
• Nursing
• Infusion

Fellowship Experience:

• Participation in high-level executive meetings and involvement in decision-making processes.
• Regular one-on-one meetings with your preceptor and other key leaders.
• Dedicated support for your professional development.
• Opportunities to rotate through different hospital departments, shadowing leaders in crucial areas.
• Participating in and leading projects related to organizational priorities.
