New Student Orientation (Fall Welcome)

Greetings & Welcome To The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health!

Public Health Students attending the 2023 OHSU-PSU School of Public Health Fall Welcome Event

Join other students, staff, and faculty for a day of learning, networking, and fun!

This program is for students enrolled in School of Public Health programs; our program content will cover information that is important for (and specific to) SPH students.

Light morning refreshments and lunch are included for all attendees.

Schedule highlights include:
  • Morning all-group sessions
  • A campus resource fair
  • Afternoon conference-style learning sessions
  • Program-specific breakout meetings

At this event returning students will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect with other students (new and returning).
  • Meet faculty and staff.
  • Learn about SPH resources (and where to find them).
  • Attend a campus resource fair that includes services and opportunities from both OHSU and PSU.
  • Interact with campus partners to learn about resources at OHSU and PSU.

You will also learn about the School’s mission and our collective commitment to building and maintaining an antiracist School of Public Health and advancing equitable health and justice for everyone in our communities.

In-depth resource sessions will also be offered online throughout the fall term (more information will be sent via email in Fall 2024).
