Public Health Portland Style #5: Keep Portland Housed & Healthy

In May we talk about how to keep Portland housed & healthy in the format of 10 minute TED Talk style talks. Ryan Deibert at the Multnomah County’s Joint Office Homeless Services will introduce the topic, Cameron Foster at Self Enhancement will share her personal experience, and Israel Bayer, will discuss how we can address the problem. Israel Bayer is the director of Street Roots, a weekly street paper in Portland, Oregon. Israel is an award-winning journalist, activist and TedX speaker that has worked in the street paper movement for more than 15-years. This event is facilitated by Paula Carder, Associate Professor at the OHSU PSU School of Public Health.
