Dr. Marisa Westbrook Releases Midterm Qualitative Report on Denver’s Universal Basic Income Pilot Program
OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty member Dr. Marisa Westbrook recently released a midterm qualitative report on Denver’s universal basic income pilot program for over 800 people experiencing homelessness, the Denver Basic Income Project.
In partnership with the Center on Housing and Homelessness Research at the University of Denver, Westbrook has been interviewing recipients of the direct cash transfer to understand how it impacts their life, including their housing and health.
