Celebrating Excellence: OHSU’s 2024 Distinguished Faculty Award Honorees
The OHSU Faculty Senate recognized outstanding faculty members at the 2024 Distinguished Faculty Awards Ceremony on Jan. 17, celebrating their exceptional contributions to teaching, research, and service.
Among the honorees were four distinguished faculty members from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health, nominated by their peers for the Outstanding Research Award: Dr. Willi Horner-Johnson (awardee), Dr. Kathleen Carlson (nominee), Dr. Jonathan Snowden (nominee), and Dr. Paul G. Tratnyek (nominee).
Thanks to the OHSU Foundation, each finalist received a monetary award, while winners took home a monetary award and a commemorative plaque. Their names will also be engraved on a memorial plaque in recognition of their achievements. Congratulations to all nominees and awardees for their dedication to advancing research in public health!
