DESCRIPTION:Brown Hope intentionally weaves creative expression into our racial justice work as a way to change hearts and open minds. Check out what we’ve been imagining at our next community event: Black and Bold on August 8th! \nBlack and Bold is an all ages event that honors the incredible work of Black authors. We’ll be at BOLD Coffee + Books on Saturday\, August 8th from 6–8pm.\nThe event\, coming back for a second year\, will include a tribute to legacy Black authors who made trailblazing contributions to the arts and literature. We’ll also celebrate published Black authors from the Pacific Northwest\, with a panel conversation and live readings featuring Emmett Wheatfall\, Renee Mitchell\, and Judge Kemp. \nREGISTER FOR EVENT
