GETTING REGISTERED – Process & Timeline
Registration for the internship requires the completion of a learning agreement and assurance that an affiliation agreement is in place, if needed.
The online registration process cannot be used for the PHE 404. Once the learning agreement has been signed and approved, your Internship Coordinator will work with you to help you to register. Ideally, you should be registered for the internship prior to the start of the term you plan to start but it is possible to add an internship up until the second week of the quarter.
You will not be approved to register without the authorization of a Internship Coordinator.
Registration Quick Facts
You Cannot Register Yourself For The Internship
Registration for the internship requires a completed and approved learning agreement.
International Sites
You may complete your internship outside of the United States. The PSU Study Abroad office is a good place to start if you are wanting an abroad experience. Make sure you get approval from your internship coordinator.
Start 2 Terms Early
You should start the process at least 2 terms before the term you plan to start your internship. Work with your internship coordinator to make sure you understand the process.
Multiple Sites
You may split your internship requirements between several sites.
Single Term vs. Several Terms
You may take the entire 4 credits of internship in a single term, or split the credits across several terms.
If you need to register for the internship over a configuration of terms that works better for you, talk with your Internship Coordinator about registrations options.
