SUMMARY:Communication for Public Health Researchers
DESCRIPTION:The SER Student and Postdoc Committee will host a session on Communication in Public Health as part of its Career Development Series. Speakers will discuss strategies for communicating findings effectively\, misinformation in public health\, and the responsibility of researchers in sharing science. The session will also cover engaging with media and public platforms\, navigating career implications of public-facing work\, and addressing misinformation and manufactured controversy by meeting audiences where they are. \nThe SPH Epidemiology team is hosting a watch-party for a SER (Society of Epidemiologic Research) event in VPT 620M open to all SPH graduate students.
