Dr. Kristi Tredway is an Assistant Professor at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health who earned her PhD in Physical Cultural Studies from the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland, where she studied under intersectionality scholar Patricia Hill Collins. Her research centers on reducing health disparities and improving access to breast cancer care for women marginalized by race, sexual orientation, or gender expression, with support from NIH, CDC, and other funding sources. She has received multiple national awards recognizing her contributions to cancer research and health equity.
