Federal changes in U.S. Development Assistance for Health and budget cuts to the U.S. National Institute for Health and Centers for Disease Control have profoundly impacted the health of communities around the world. This interactive panel discussion will explore the impacts of shifts in U.S. funding for health and research in Botswana, Africa, and globally. The event will be of particular interest for anyone engaged in health-related research, education, or care delivery beyond U.S. borders, including members of the OHSU community participating in collaborations in Southern Africa. All are welcome.
