Organizing and Advocating For Us All Reflections from the Social Mission Alliance Health Justice Fellows
The Social Mission Alliance is hosting on April 23rd at 8pm ET (5pm our time) called “Organizing and Advocating For Us All Reflections from the Social Mission Alliance Health Justice Fellows.” During the session the health justice fellows will reflect on their efforts advancing initiatives as part of the institutional organizing arm of the For Us All campaign. During the webinar they will discuss their projects, how the fellowship and the campaign supported them, and how others can get involved in work like this as part of the social mission alliance. This will help students conceptualize how you can practice community organizing AND be a healthcare professional at the same time, plus SMA will offer tangible ways learners can participate in their nation-wide advocacy campaign fighting for transformative health justice through social accountability within health professions training institutions.
