Greetings & Welcome To The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health!

We are looking forward to seeing you this fall!

Public Health Students attending the 2023 OHSU-PSU School of Public Health Fall Welcome Event

Join other students, staff, and faculty for a day of learning, networking, and fun!

This program is for students enrolled in School of Public Health programs; our program content will cover information that is important for (and specific to) SPH students.

Light morning refreshments and lunch are included for all attendees.

Fall Welcome Schedule:

9:00 am - Check in and refreshments
9:30 am - Welcome remarks and activities
10:15 am - Antiracism and social justice workshop
11:15 am - campus resource fair
11:30 am - Lunch, time to pick up PSU ID cards
1:10-3:00 pm - Educational sessions and affinity group meetings
3:10 - 4:30 pm - New student program breakout sessions:

By participating in the Fall Welcome, students will be able to:

Make meaningful connections with fellow students, faculty, and staff at the School of Public Health, as well as at OHSU and PSU.
Understand how to access key student resources and support services available through SPH, OHSU, and PSU.
Begin to learn about or continue to connect with the School of Public Health’s anti-racism initiative.
Engage with the SPH community to foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose at the start of the academic year.

In-depth resource sessions will also be offered online throughout the fall term (more information will be sent via email in Fall 2025).
