SPH Faculty Presents At The Alzheimer’s Association International Conference

Dr. Sherril Gelmon, Dr. Walter Dawson, and Doctoral candidate Jenn Hollandsworth-Reed of the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health presented their research on supporting care partners of people living with dementia, at the annual Alzheimer’s Association International Conference. Their research is funded by Better with Age Gerontological Education, Research Initiative at the PSU Institute on Aging, with support from the OHSU Layton Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.

Dr. Sherill Gelmon presented during the featured research session on her research titled “A Policy Agenda To Support Care Partners of People Living with ADRD From Historically Underserved Communities,” as well as presented her research “The Dementia Care Partner Hub: a Novel Resource to Support People Living with Dementia, Care Partners, and Care Teams.”
