Get Support as a SPH Alumni

Your degree or certificate from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health gives you access to alumni services and benefits from both PSU and OHSU! Both universities offer a range of benefits, from professional development opportunities to discounts for athletic shoes!

While the OHSU Foundation website currently does not offer programs specific to SPH alumni, SPH alumni are welcome in all alumni functions, including Alumni Chapter activities. In addition, check out the FERN program (Facilitating Effective Relationships and Networks), designed to connect the OHSU community.

OHSU Library Privileges

Licensed health professionals practicing in Oregon may be eligible for access to OHSU Library information resources. Learn more and/or sign up. Licensed health professionals in Washington may be eligible for a similar program through the State of Washington. Learn more.

Alumni, and Oregon residents whose home library participates in the Oregon Library Passport program, may check out items from OHSU Library’s print collection by contacting library staff to set up an OHSU Library account. Users may also access electronic resources from guest computer stations located inside the Library. Due to publisher licensing restrictions, remote access to the library’s electronic resources is not available to non-OHSU users, including alumni. Computer stations are available during regular open hours.

Workforce Training and Continuing Education Opportunities

The School of Public Health has partnered with OHSU’s Center for Community Outreach, Research, and Engagement (CORE) to identify training and development opportunities for our alumni and public health professionals. This Public Health Workforce Training website provides a centralized location for a wide array of opportunities supporting continued learning and professional development. From online courses to conferences and workshops, graduate-level certificate programs to individual project technical assistance, check the site to find the tools and training needed to support a current workforce or to further one’s own career. Many of these opportunities are free of charge, as are opportunities to earn Continuing Education credits for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential.
