Blair Darney Named Incoming Editor-in-Chief of Contraception

The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health congratulates Blair Darney, Ph.D., MPH, Associate Professor of Health Systems & Policy, on being named the incoming editor-in-chief of Contraception, the official journal of the Society of Family Planning. Darney also serves as an associate professor in obstetrics and gynecology in the OHSU School of Medicine and holds appointments at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health and the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico.

A nationally and internationally recognized health services researcher, Darney’s work focuses on evaluating access to, utilization of, and outcomes associated with reproductive health services and policies in the United States and Latin America.

Darney’s appointment reflects her longstanding leadership in reproductive health research and her commitment to advancing family planning policy and reproductive health services. The School of Public Health is proud to celebrate this achievement and looks forward to the impact of her editorial leadership on the field.
