This talk features the eminent historian of immigration, Columbia’s Mae Ngai, who will bring critical historical context to the current moment.
Ngai is the author of several highly acclaimed books, including Impossible Subjects: Illegal Aliens and the Making of Modern American and The Chinese Question: The Gold Rush and Global Politics.
