Announcing Adri Jones as Director of Antiracism and Social Justice
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Adri Jones to the role of Director of Antiracism and Social Justice. Jones has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and expertise in her role as the Antiracism Program Manager, contributing significantly to the institutionalization of antiracism in the SPH through curricular efforts, student support, and capacity building for faculty and staff.
In her new position, Jones will extend and expand on these efforts, directing the social justice and antiracism initiatives in the SPH and working closely with partners at both PSU and OHSU. This will include focusing on developing self-accountability tools for faculty and staff, continuing the BIPOC student exit interview project, continuing the progressive pedagogy workshops, and working to address equity gaps for DACA/undocumented and international students. The school’s commitment to social justice and antiracism continues to be the hallmark of our work and the center of our mission, and we are confident in Jones’ leadership in this elevated role!
Adri Jones received her bachelor’s degree in public health from Pacific University and received her MPH from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health.
