Biography

Cimone Campbell is a dynamic and dedicated leader with over a decade of experience in higher education and community mental health settings. As the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management, she supports the School of Public Health’s commitment to enhancing the student experience through a spirit of inclusivity and attention to holistic practices.

She has a rich and diverse background that includes training, executive leadership, mentoring, curriculum development, and program implementation. She is committed to empowering individuals and communities and using effective problem-solving with people and systems from diverse backgrounds. Campbell’s work is underscored by a firm belief in the power of authentic connection and relationship-building.

With a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making and an exemplary ability to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, Campbell is well-poised to drive the School toward achieving and maintaining its enrollment goals. She strives to ensure that the enrollment and recruitment processes remain accessible and relevant to all students, regardless of their cultural, economic, or academic backgrounds. Under her guidance, the School anticipates an enrichment of the student experience, fostering a generation of public health leaders who are as diverse as the communities they will serve.

Experienced Faculty With Diverse Backgrounds

More than 150 faculty members work within the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. They have a wide range of expertise, from monitoring and assessing health risks and opportunities in populations, to helping build health-supporting social environments through policy, advocacy, and programs. They are educators, advisors, researchers, practitioners and community leaders. They come from backgrounds in quantitative, behavioral, environmental and social sciences, policy and government, exercise and health sciences and anthropology, among many other areas. They all work in collaboration with each other and with community partners, and are especially focused on the training and education of future leaders and practitioners in the public health fields.
