Opinion: Portland protests seen through lens of public health

In an opinion piece in the Portland Tribune, Dr. Kathleen Carlson and Dr. Dawn Richardson, along with public health policy expert Susan DeFrancesco, argue that, much like the COVID-19 pandemic, structural racism is an unremitting, devastating public health crisis that requires fundamental changes at the systems level.
