Building on 24 years of accredited public health partnership, the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health continues a tradition of success.
Council of Education for Public Health
The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health was recently reaccredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools and programs of public health. CEPH accreditation indicates the School of Public Health meets or exceeds criteria for the delivery of high-quality public health education. The current accreditation cycle extends to December 31st, 2029, pending continued compliance with CEPH’s accreditation standards through annual and interim reporting.
As a part of the reaccreditation process, the School engaged in a rigorous self-study over the course of 18 months. The process involved broad, inclusive stakeholder engagement, including faculty, staff, students, graduates, and community partners. The self-study report was submitted to CEPH in March 2022 and the School hosted a site visit with peer reviewers and CEPH representatives in April 2022. Based on its review of the self-study report and the site visit, the CEPH Board of Councilors rendered its accreditation decision and final report in December 2022.

Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education
In addition to the CEPH accreditation, our MPH in Health Management and Policy is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Ours is the only Health Management and Policy program in the state that is CAHME-accredited.
Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
In September 2018, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) verified our undergraduate certificate in Human Lactation program through 2023. Recertification currently pending.
